Learn about the myths surrounding probate and what the probate process is in Hawaii, including what triggers probate, how new laws have changed the process and why some people choose to avoid it.

Zumba Gold in a chair will meet from 10:30-11 a.m. Thursday with Renee Morinaka, a licensed Zumba instructor. This class is mainly for those who have mobility or balance issues, but still love to move and dance. It includes a warm up, dance party and cool down stretching to upbeat music of various genres.

Activate effective everyday hand, arm, leg and body movements. Participants will sit during the entire class. Bring water, a towel and wear covered shoes. This class will continue to meet the 1st Thursday monthly.

Chair Yoga will be held from 9:30-10:30 a.m. on Friday, and Nov. 10 and 17 with Michiko Sato, CYT. This gentle, yoga-in-a-chair practice is designed to stretch and strengthen the body without standing or lying on a mat. The class may also include some easy standing poses behind the chair.

Seasonal Creativity • DIY Holiday Cards with Annabel Spielman will meet from 1-4 p.m. this Saturday. Try making festive cards this year. Have fun painting, drawing or coloring memorable images made with love and inspiration. Bring favorite art medium such as watercolor, colored pencils, etc. and join others ages 6—100 to design Thanksgiving, Christmas, Chanukah, birthday or New Year’s cards. Extra supplies to supplement will be on hand, as well as encouragement, instruction and helpful ideas.

Yoga Basics with Janet Lam will meet from 8—9 a.m. Nov. 6, 13 and 20. Start the week feeling balanced, flexible and strong. This class includes fundamental yoga poses, and although not specifically a beginner’s class, the movement sequence can easily accommodate students new to yoga or returning to a yoga practice.
